About UsDrive On is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that repairs vehicles at no cost for those in need. In today's world, reliable and affordable transportation is a necessity in order to commute to work, shop and transport family members to daycare, healthcare appointments and for leisure activities. Without reliable transportation, many people struggle with holding a steady job or simply being able to perform daily tasks. By providing low cost and reliable transportation, we aim to enable those in need to help themselves and their families. We obtain cars from recognized charitable organizations, repair and return them. The cars are then given or sold (at a discounted price) by the charitable organization to an individual or family in need. We also directly repair cars owned by those in need based on bona fide referrals from charitable organizations. Drive On does not receive payment for the labor provided or the parts used to repair vehicles. Drive On was founded in 2020 by Sam Kuzmishin as a way to help meet an unmet need in the community. We operate from a 3,200 foot square foot facility located in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. We gladly accept donations so we can purchase parts to fulfill our mission. Because of our 501(c)(3) status, all donations are tax deductible and we will provide you with a receipt. |
